Woman’s Pleas for Money May be a Scam
Police have issued an alert for a woman has been soliciting contributions for her personal use from residents in Jessamine County, including Nicholasville. Details are not complete on the situation, however, preliminary investigations indicate she has mislead people regarding her need for and use of the money she has requested. Officials suggest that anyone who encounters her refer her to police for assistance. (6/22/04)
