Crime Statistics
The Nicholasville Police Department is committed to crime
prevention. We consider any crime to be unnecessary and
an assault on the quality of life we treasure in Nicholasville.
We also realize that crime does happen in our community.
We monitor the nature of the occurrences and track them
to spot trends and measure progress. One of the areas
in which we traditionally have seen a higher rate than
other cities is car theft. In addition, we continue
to be concerned with the illicit sale and use of drugs,
due to the negative impact it has throughout society.
