Police work is challenging and rewarding, and provides excellent opportunities for those who are willing to serve their communities in this important way. The Nicholasville Police Department welcomes inquiries and applications throughout the year.

Please visit the police department to pick up an application for employment as a police officer. For administrative positions within the NPD, the general city employment application should be completed. It is available through the city’s Human Resources Department, 517 Main Street.
