The City of Nicholasville is accepting applications for Maintenance Worker II in the Water Plant, grade 20. Minimum starting pay at $11.37 hour, maximum over time of $18.95 hour. Under general supervision assist in performing maintenance duties, including preventive maintenance for water plant buildings, equipment, pumps, and grounds; related work as required. Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED supplemented by 3 years work experience as Maintenance Worker I or equivalent; must possess and maintain a valid KY drivers license. The City of Nicholasville is accepting applications for the position of Customer Service Representative I, grade 23, salary range min $13.16 to max over time $21.94. Duties include but are not limited to assisting customers with utility services; taking and processing payments; balance cash drawer; connecting, disconnecting and transferring utility accounts; assisting with preparing non-payment cutoff accounts. Applicant must be a high school graduate or posses a GED supplemented by one year directly related work experience, must have basic math, computer skills and the ability to communicate well with the public.
